Well, this weekend sure went by fast. Monday is here again- all too soon.

We actually had a great weekend. On Saturday afternoon my husband and I were able to go on a day-date to where I lovingly call “My Happy Place”- sitting at a cafe table at an outdoor shopping plaza sipping on my iced coffee. No kids in sight. Bliss.

The fun part of being a blogger is reading others’ blogs and getting to know them through comments and social media. The things that really catch my eye, I like to pass along to you.

✦ I admit I have an obsession with IKEA. I’m a diehard fan. One of my favorite mail days is when I see the new catalog in my mailbox. So I was so excited to see this catalog sneak peak over at Apartment Therapy.

✦ I don’t know about you, but I struggle to get more than 6-7 hours sleep every night. I definitely tend to be a night owl, but that’s not really a good thing when morning comes early. ✦ Just as in my personal style, my home decor style tends to be colorful and- dare I say- quirky. One of my biggest interiors inspirations, Michael at Inspired by Charm, talks about the need to “keep it quirky”. Bonus: check out the little beach scene he made in the succulent pot. I died.
