It’s no secret that I am a major shoe lover. But did you also know that I love handbags almost as much? True story.

In the past I’ve mainly purchased neutral colored bags. I especially have an affinity toward camel colored purses, because I think they go with everything. However, recently I purchased a bright kelly green bag from Thirty-One Gifts that has me rethinking my goes-with-everything bags.

So, out my love for my green tote, I started looking at other colors that would really make my wardrobe pop.

When I was younger I had a lipstick red purse that I carried until it gave out. I loved it, and I received compliments on it wherever I went. These red bags are reminiscent of that one from my younger years. Bag 1 is the Calley Hobo from Charming Charlie, 2 is the ANDM (Nila Anthony) Tote from Modcloth, and the Merona Vivid Satchel (3) can be found at your local Target.

I can’t say that I’ve truly been a big fan of orange until recently. Sometimes red can be too much; orange is just as bold, but a little softer. Plus I feel like orange goes with more colors without clashing. Bag 4 is the Nine West It Girl Tote at Nordstrom Rack, 5 is a reversible tote from Under One Sky found at Target, and bag 6 is an adorable Polka Dot Tote from Target. And really, who can resist polka dots?

Yellow, like orange, is another color that I think really goes with everything. Plus, it’s just such a happy, fun color. I have to say I would be torn between the sunshine yellow of the SWG Gale Tote from JC Penney (7) and the butter yellow of the Lady Lockbox Satchel (8) from Charming Charlie.

I don’t really need another green bag– but you might! I fell in love with the design of the Carmelita Belted Tote (9) from Charming Charlie and the lime green color of this Danielle Nicole Wila Tote found at Bloomingdale’s (10).

Blue is my favorite color, and believe it or not, I don’t have a blue handbag! I think that should be remedied…

I don’t often carry clutches, but the Marlena Foldover Clutch from Sole Society (11) caught my eye! I’m not sure how well I can resist the cobalt blue color of the Liz Claiborne Diana Shopper Tote from JC Penney (12), and check out the detailing on this Catherine Malandrino Holly Satchel, also found at Bloomingdale’s (13). It turns a pretty purse into a gorgeous one!

Two purples in one? Yes, please. Loving this Merona Reversible Tote (14) and it’s grape and lilac shades. It can be found at your local Target.

Hot pink is my jam! This cute little number 15 is Charming Charlie’s Newport Wing Satchel. Coral, like orange and yellow, is yet another color that plays nicely with all the others. Bag 16 is the Under One Sky Saffiano Satchel and can be bought at Target. Fuchsia is the cousin of hot pink and purple. Fuchsia cutie number 17 is the Merona Reversible Bag from Target.

After looking at all of these, I think my absolute favorites are numbers 5 and 12- orange and cobalt!
