… a pink tank dress, that is!
Ah, Mother’s Day… the only day of the year (other than my birthday) when the family asks what I want to do, and- with only minor complaints- they actually do it!
Since my husband hates to fight crowds, we opted to celebrate on Saturday instead of Sunday. So this year Mother’s Day turned into an entire Mother’s Weekend. Saturday, for me, consisted of shopping, laying out at the pool watching the kids swim, then relaxing at home with a glass of wine after a down home Southern meal from my favorite restaurant. Plus, I still got my R&R day on Sunday. Niiiice.
We initially only stopped by Old Navy to pick up new swimsuits for the kiddos, but the sales were callin’ my name! A few dresses, couple tops, and a new pair of Pixie Pants later…
Man, I really do love those Pixie Pants.
One of the dresses I picked up is this cute little pink tank number. I guess technically Old Navy refers to it as a swim cover up, but I thought it way too cute to relegate it to just pool times. This magenta shade is such a happy color, and the midi length is super flattering. Fringe ankle booties, beads, fedora- done! Happy Mother’s Day!
