When I think of the ideal clothes for summer, I think of flowy, comfy clothes that are easy to wear. I have yet to come across an item of clothing that fits that description better than a jumpsuit. I have a couple of them, and without a doubt I think they truly are the perfect summer wardrobe!
I’ve been browsing for new jumpsuits to add to my collection this summer, and here’s a few that have caught my eye.
1: This gauzy blue jumpsuit by Ecote at Urban Outfitters jumped out at me because of the lattice trim and the tulip split leg. I usually try to dress in a way that I’m not overexposed, so I think this hint of skin is adorable!
2: Normally I’m not a huge fan of culottes, but paired with the more tailored bodice of this cobalt jumpsuit by Storee at Nordstrom Rack it works! Plus, cobalt- how could I resist?
3: Another culotte jumpsuit found at Nordstrom, this time in black. Simple, elegant, and can be dressed up or down. This one is the ultimate in versatility.
4: I liked this babydoll jumpsuit from Ecote Northside just because it was a bit different from all the others I’m seeing. I love how the shirred waistline is so forgiving over the belly area. I may or may not have eaten a lot of ice cream already this summer! 😉
5: I love this tropical print jumpsuit from H&M! The colors and print are so happy, and this could easily work with a cute denim jacket for cooler evenings.
6: I love a good statement piece, and this diamond print jumpsuit from MinkPink is fabulous! Hot summer days are perfect for juicy colors like this hot pink and aqua!
7: This mellow yellow jumpsuit from Forever 21 bright and beautiful. The thing I love about this one (other than the gorgeous sunny color) is the interesting cut-out neckline. Those little details always call out to me.
8: Who can resist an ombre jumpsuit? This one from Young, Fabulous & Broke at Nordstrom Rack has comfy jogger ankle cuffs and a cute tassel waist-tie to boot!
9: This floral jumpsuit from Forever 21 is reminiscent of the floral babydoll dresses from the 90’s, which is why it originally caught my eye. I love it because it’s been updated into a jumpsuit- perfect for those nostalgic fashionistas out there.
10: Talk about put it on and go! This strapless jumpsuit by Ooberswank at Nordstrom Rack looks like a great piece with its smocked bodice and waistline. Add a long necklace and sandals, and you’re good to go.
Which one would you go with? And what is it that you’re shopping for this summer?
